Pastors Conference

Each year in mid-February, Rosedale Network hosts a major training event for Rosedale Network ministers and their wives. While the program is designed especially with pastors in mind, missionaries, ministry leaders, and congregational lay leaders are also encouraged to attend.

MARCUS YODER
Guest Speaker

 

Marcus was born to an Amish family in the heart of Amish Country. His family later moved to the Mennonite church where Marcus actively preaches, teaches, and writes. He is the executive director of the Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center and the Ohio Amish Library in Berlin, Ohio.

Marcus graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in history from the Ohio State University in 2010 and a master’s degree in the history of Christianity from Yale University in 2015. He enjoys reading, writing, painting, and spending time with his wife, Nora. 

DARREN PEACHEY

Conference Pastor

 

Darren travels extensively with his wife, Caryn, visiting churches across the country in his role as conference pastor of Rosedale Network of Churches. He previously served as senior pastor at North Street Community Church for almost ten years. Darren and Caryn currently live in Belleville, Pennsylvania, and attend Locust Grove Mennonite Church.

After serving as senior pastor at Trinity Chapel in Florida and Shiloh Mennonite Church in Ohio for a combined 20 years, Brian transitioned into his current role as executive director of Rosedale Network of Churches the fall of 2014. He and his wife, Sharla, live in Marysville, Ohio, where they are involved in community outreach and worship ministry at Lighthouse Fellowship.

Counseling Opportunity for Pastors

Dave Musser, licensed marriage and family therapist who spoke at the 2023 Pastors Conference, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis all day on Wednesday, February 21, to provide one-hour counseling sessions for pastors and/or couples. Thanks to a grant from Everence, this is a complimentary service. Please contact Conference Pastor, Darren Peachey by email or at 717-250-4660 by February 5th if you would like to schedule a session with Dave.

 

Dave Musser

Dave is a licensed marriage and family therapist. He has an undergraduate degree in Bible and pastoral studies from Lancaster Bible College and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from the Myerstown Evangelical Theological Seminary. David serves as a bishop in LMC.

Registration Information

  • Registration opens no later than December 8 of each year. Free will offerings will be received for meals and other conference expenses.
  • You can register for both Pastors Conference and in-home lodging using the registration button below.
  • Note: In-home lodging registration closes January 31. In-home lodging registrants will receive lodging information after February 5.
  • A web search will provide many hotel lodging options.

Donations

Pastors Conference has always been a donation-only event. Below is a suggested donation amount per adult to cover the cost of the conference.

Suggested Donation

Adults – $125 (Covers the cost of sessions and meals for the entire week.)
         Children and youth, ages 17 and under – free  

Donations may be made in the following ways:

    • Using the “Donate” button in the header or footer when you register
    • During the Tuesday evening service
    • In the food line at any of the meal times
    • With your credit card at the registration desk

If possible, consider giving a little more to help those who aren’t able to give as much. 

In-home lodging is now closed.
