He must be a man of honest report who is eager to be about the Lord’s service and dedicated to the pursuit of God, the faithful study of scripture, shepherding and discipling the members of the congregation, and seeking God prayerfully. He will be responsible for preaching the Bible accurately, visiting the sick, and providing counsel to those in need. We prefer a graduate of a recognized seminary or Bible college with at least 5-10 years of experience. This multigenerational church, with an average attendance of approximately 100, is missions-minded, desiring to continue to work in our community and abroad to spread the gospel of Christ. Word of Grace is a very young Rosedale Network congregation looking for a ministry intern or volunteer(s). We are located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, an area rich with occupational, educational, and personal development opportunities. An internship would be shaped around the interests of the participant, with a balance between study and hands-on ministry in the church (outreach or music or teaching, e.g.) and in the community, depending on time constraints. The intern would likely combine ministry and church involvement with employment or higher education and there is flexibility in terms of starting and ending times. In many cases, Word of Grace would be able to provide lodging for an intern and would be delighted to discuss how this relationship could be mutually beneficial. Empower School & Farms is a not-for-profit Christian organization providing training in sustainable farming, Christian discipleship, and world missions. We offer related training programs and classes while operating a farm that follows sustainable organic practices. (One of the farm projects is Victory Gardens on the grounds of Faith Christian Fellowship, a Rosedale Network church in Tavares, FL.) We have openings for the following positions:
Farm Manager:
This position would ideally suit a spiritually mature Christian individual or married couple with experience in the operation of a working farm using sustainable organic practices to serve as a farm manager. The Farm Manager is responsible for the daily planning, organization, supervision, and administration of farm-related activities. The Farm Manager also serves as a mentor to discipleship students and farm interns providing both agriculture training and spiritual guidance. This is a volunteer position, but includes a potential for income sharing a percentage of farm-related net income. Subsidized low-cost on-site housing is available (for 1-2 individuals) with this position.
Resident Advisor(s):
This position would ideally suit a spiritually mature Christian woman or married couple with a background in facilitating Christian discipleship training to serve as a resident advisor for our Discipleship Students and Farm Interns. The Resident Advisor (RA) oversees accommodations and community life. RA’s live and work alongside residents to provide mentorship while assisting with classes and community outreaches. This is a volunteer position. Subsidized low-cost housing is provided (for 1-2 individuals) with this position.
